BIRMINGHAM CITY v BRIGHTON + HOVE ALBION
February 1985

  These few photographs were taken by myself with the wish that I'd always taken a camera
to St. Andrews beginning with my first trip in 1964!  I hope you find them interesting.
 


I seem to recall that one could get into either the Kop or Tilton from this the Coventry Road side. This was taken on a visit from Wales in June of 1980.

 


Ditto the above. Not exactly a pretty sight now is it?!

 


This set of 4 images were taken on my last visit to St. Andrews in early 1985 prior to my sojourn in the United States. They were taken during the Brighton and Hove Albion game are a sad testament to the state of the ground, the attendances during that period, and the general health of Birmingham City FC. It got worse before it got better, but it did get better!
